Creating PDF files using MS Word….

                 It is easy to create a PDF file from the word document in MS Word 2007. In the file menu there ll be a Save as option in that there are many option to save the files in different format. Select  PDF or XPS. Give Publish PDF. Now the PDF file of the word document is created.

Correcting the Error ” Server Execution Failed ” while Playing Music

Hi friends,

In windows media player there may be a problem encountered while trying to play music files.

The Error Server Execution Failed

To solve this problem do the following

1) Run cmd as administrator

2) Type the command regsvr32 vbscript.dll

3) Type exit

Thats good…

Changing the Backgroung Image of GRUB Menu in Ubuntu

Hi friends,

I think U have tried that Windows LogOn page background changing…

The next is to change the GRUB Menu Background image.

1) Go to /boot/grub

2) Paste Ur image file inside /boot/grub

3) In Terminal give sudo update-grub

this will display the following

Generating grub.cfg …
Found background image: Kutty2360.jpg
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.38-8-generic
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-2.6.38-8-generic
Found memtest86+ image: /boot/memtest86+.bin
Found Windows 7 (loader) on /dev/sda2
done

here my image file name is Kutty2360.jpg

Thats it…..

Now Reboot your system and see….

Changing Windows 7 LogOn Screen Image

Hi friends,

Here the steps to change the Log On screen in Windows 7

1) Download  Logon Changer for Windows 7 v1.1 by Tweaks.com from http://www.techspot.com/downloadget.php?id=4902&file=1&evp=000684e70c8af47d47f0ab1bbe00d6dd

2) Run it.

3) Set ur Image. Thats it…

4) Now Log Off and Log On into Ur System…..

An another complex way

1) Go to Registry Edit

2) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE- SOFTWARE-Microsoft- Windows- CurrentVersion-Authentication-LogOnUI-Background

3) Create a New DWORD with name OEMBackgroung  and Value 1

4) Go to C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds

5) Put ur image inside background directory, rename that into backgrounddefault.jpg (image size should be  <  256 KB)

6) Thats it. Now Log Off and Log On into Ur System…..
